When you create an account and use LobsterOne, we collect:

  • Account Information — Email address, display name, and optional profile details (city, country, role, industry)
  • Usage Metrics — Aggregate AI coding tool usage data including message counts, token counts, session counts, and acceptance rates
  • Technical Data — Browser type, IP address, and general location for analytics purposes

What We Do NOT Collect

LobsterOne never collects, stores, or transmits:

  • Your source code or code snippets
  • Your prompts or conversation content with AI tools
  • File names, paths, or repository information
  • AI responses or suggestions

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Power global and filtered leaderboard rankings
  • Display your personal usage analytics dashboard
  • Calculate percentile badges and streaks
  • Provide team-level analytics for organizations
  • Improve our service and fix bugs

Data Retention

We retain raw usage metrics for 90 days. Aggregated daily summaries are retained for longer to power historical analytics. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with VPC isolation and access controls.

Third-Party Services

We use AWS Cognito for authentication and AWS infrastructure for hosting. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.

  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of leaderboard visibility
