About LobsterOne
LobsterOne is the global leaderboard and analytics platform for developers who code with AI. We track your AI coding tool usage and turn it into competitive, motivating leaderboards that help developers see how they compare to peers worldwide.
Our Mission
We believe that AI-assisted development is the future of software engineering. LobsterOne exists to make that future visible, measurable, and fun. By giving developers a shared scoreboard, we help teams adopt AI tools faster and individuals track their growth as AI-native engineers.
How It Works
LobsterOne connects to your AI coding tools through a lightweight Mac app. It collects usage metrics — messages sent, tokens used, sessions started, acceptance rates — and aggregates them into real-time leaderboards. No code content is ever stored or transmitted.
What We Track
- Messages — Total messages exchanged with your AI coding tools
- Tokens — Input and output tokens consumed
- Conversations — Number of coding sessions
- Acceptance Rate — How often you accept AI suggestions
- Streaks — Consecutive days of AI-assisted coding
Privacy First
We take privacy seriously. LobsterOne never sees your code, prompts, or conversation content. We only collect aggregate usage metrics needed to power the leaderboards. You can delete your data at any time from your account settings. Read our full privacy policy.
Built for Teams
Organizations can create private leaderboards to track AI adoption across their engineering team. Team admins get aggregate analytics, usage trends, and adoption metrics — all without seeing individual code content. Learn more about LobsterOne for Teams.
Who Built This
Founder
LobsterOne started from a simple question: how much AI is my team actually using? After building internal dashboards that never got maintained, Pierre built LobsterOne to give every developer and engineering leader a live, accurate picture of their AI coding tool usage.
